I just received a K&F ballhead and it is very disappointing. The ball isn't round, so you can only move the camera if the ball is completely loosened. The tightening/ loosening knob has a full quarter turn of backlash, so you have to loosen/tighten by a total half turn to move the camera. Totally useless, IMO.

Thanks for making the functions far clearer than the booklet...the instructions are so damn small.....l have just bought the TW-283 for use with my E-PL8

I love that you have videos on "basic" stuff that no one else bothers to cover. I haven't used a digital camera in 20 years and I thought they were complex back then. There's just so much in the menus, and a simple "how to" video is faster and more fun than slogging through all those menu screens to find something.

Robin Wong's assessment of the 14mm f/2.5's AF is inaccurate. I think he was referencing the Pany 20mm, which is quite slow. I've had 2 copies of the 14mm and it's fast, but not as fast as other premium lenses (splitting hairs here). Many other's have also said so. However, the Pany 12-32, Oly 14-42 EZ and Pany 14-42 PZ all offer similar size and performance at 14mm but without the f/2.5. It boils down to: are you a prime guy or not?

This is my first (but not the last) purchase of a D U P B A G Y bag. For the affordable price, it exceeded my expectations! It's soft, the perfect size, and the color is gorgeous! Love this bag!

So since you put it on an Olympus at the end even though it's Nikon does that mean it will work with non Nikon? So would Canon communicate with the Olympus as well? Would TTL still work across brands?

An update on my K&F gear head: only problem I have found is in use with a levelling head the lower tilt screw fouls on the spirit level of the head unless you tilt forward a bit. I have a Leophoto with an integral levelling head and also a Sirui on my Three Legged Thing. Once you get used to this it doesn't affect usage, since this head is not for wild panning movements, rather for much slower more precise movements.

I just got the G-raphy $10 bag from Amazon. I'm gobsmacked! I would be totally satisfied with this bag at the full $20 price. I just ordered another one to be sent to my son, who is also a photo guy. Much thanks for the excellent tip on this deal!

Rather than a camera or yet another lens. more often it is the light that makes the photo and ALL fail in this category. I wish Nikon - or others - would have come up with their own internal flash trigger and a flash/speed light/LED ecosystem to build upon much like a Bowens mount, etc. for studio or portable use for outdoors No need for external hot shoe triggers and cables but being built into the body for TTL, HSS, fill percentages, ratios, better WB, stacking, weatherproofing for longer telehotos for wildlife as a BetterBeamer, etc. It's a mess right now, imho.

The most hyped, I've seen you on gas for a lens . Pretty good deal, though.

Hey Rob, thanks for another great chat... I always learn something! Question: What if any is the difference between using "manual mode" and using one aperture/ only adjusting the shutter to control the exposure VS using "aperture priority mode" and using the other dial as an exposure adjuster? When I use the manual mode method it takes a lot of clicks to adjust the shutter speed ... Maybe the aperture mode method requires fewer clicks? If so are the leaps per click adjustable ? Thanks!

When the OM-1 Mark II was released there were also two new lenses introduced, including the 8-19mm f4-5.6 II, which is similar to the previous version, and the more interesting 150-600mm f5-6.3 IS super telephoto zoom lens.
